Update

As soon as I returned from Mexico I flew to Portland to look into that clothing business for sale.    After a few days of talking to the owners and going over their numbers (or lack of numbers), I decided it wasn't a wise investment.   Cute business, just not the right one for me.

Oh, and for those of you who are curious....neither my parents or I have the swine flu.   I guess we left Mexico just in time.

I have made the decision to move to Portland by the end of June.    I took my house off the market and am in the process of trying to get it rented.   I also plan on selling a lot of my furniture before the big move.   I'm excited and nervous about this transition, however I feel it is the right direction for me.

Below are some photos I took while in Portland.

What's up with all the fugly high rises? I thought Portland was supposed to be better at things than that.

P.S., you can NOT sell those mid century lounge chairs you have. I'd rather pay for the shipping and store them here myself than let some dick bag get a hold of them.

The water front was obviously built up in the 80's. I must say, it's not terribly attractive (said in the voice of Angela Arden).

Those chairs have been gone since November. I took them over to Red and sold them to the owner.
